MG Move – Reporting an Emergency – SOS

Your watch offers two ways to access help.

Physical Red SOS Button

  1. Press and hold the red SOS button for 5 seconds. The watch will state, “Hold the red SOS button for 5 seconds to call for help”.  
  2. The watch will then state, “Calling for help.  You may release the button.”
  3. Next, a second 5 second countdown will begin during which time you can cancel the call by tapping cancel.
  4. The watch will then connect with our automated voice assistant and ask if you need help. 
    1. If no help is needed, respond by saying, “No” or “This is just a test.”  The automated assistant will confirm no help is needed and end the call.
    2. If help is needed or if you give no response, you will be connected with a live operator.  The operator will confirm if help is needed and dispatch first responders.

SOS App

  1. Press the black side button to wake up the watch.  Tap on the watch face to get to the app screen.
  2. Tap on the SOS app.  The watch will state, “Calling for help.”
  3. A 5 second countdown will begin during which time you can cancel the call by tapping cancel.
  4. The watch will then connect with our automated voice assistant and ask if you need help.
    1. If no help is needed, respond by saying, “No” or “This is just a test.”  The automated assistant will confirm no help is needed and end the call.
    2. If help is needed or if you give no response, you will be connected with a live operator.  The operator will confirm if help is needed and dispatch first responders.
